Commanding the morning is an important prayer engagement that every Christian needs to be familiar with it. Not only familiar with it but you must also be consistent with it. Commanding the day means that you authoritatively declare what you want your day to look like. It is a way you allow and disallows things in your day. If you fail to do it, the powers that be will do it for you.
It is absolutely bad for a Christian to just be waking up and living the day the way it comes. Life is much more than that. Job 38:12-13 speaks about commanding the day to put things in their place and block off every evil thing in the course of the day. So, we shall be raising prayer points to command the morning. These prayers will be raised in two categories. First, thanksgiving for the new morning while the second is for the events in the day. I believe this is the right sequence of prayers. - Father, I want to thank you for this new morning. Thank you for making it to see this new day. Lord, thank you for your love and faithfulness that has kept me alive till this very moment. For the freshness of a new day. I just want to say thank you for making to see this new day in the name of Jesus.
- The Bible says that for me to sleep and wake up is possible because you made it possible. Thank you Jesus for making it possible for me to wake up from my sleep. Thank you Jesus that for the gift of life this great morning. I return all the praise and adoration unto your holy name, my God and father.
- Lord, I want to thank you for protecting me from the evil arrows and noisome pestilence in the dark time. Father, I want to say thank you for the dispatch of your angels that protected me throughout the night. I declare that my safety only came from you, my Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus for the safety.
Powerful Prayer Points to Command the Morning
- I come in the name of Jesus Christ and I destroy every satanic agenda revealed in the dream of the night in the name of Jesus. Lord, let every evil plan against my day be crushed in the name of Jesus. No satanic agenda against me will hold in the day in the name of Jesus. The only agenda allowed to hold in my life is that which Jesus says!
- Lord, your says no weapon against me shall prosper, therefore every divination, incantation, and an evil word spoken into and ahead of my morning is broken in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the everlasting word that has reigned from the foundation of the world. I crush all sorts of evil spoken into my day in the name of Jesus.
- Father, I come against every instituted evil for my morning, and the rest of today in the name of Jesus. Every satanic and demonic activation on my morning and day is destroyed in the name of Jesus. I destroy all evil arrows set into my day in the name of Jesus. I refuse to be a victim of these evils during the day in the name of Jesus.
- Father, I declare that the day ahead of me is a great day. For it is a great day that the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in this day in the name of Jesus. I declare that today is a great day for me because the word of the Lord says it is a great day. I pray that today is nothing short of great for me in Jesus’ name. Therefore, I command all the events that will occur today to go in line with good things in Jesus’ name.
- By the power in the name of Jesus, I command my morning to shake off the evils in it in the name of Jesus. The word of the Lord asks me to command my morning, therefore I command my morning to be excluded from the devil’s agent marked list in the name of Jesus. The evils are not mine in the name of Jesus. I command my morning to come forth with great things in the name of Jesus
- In the name of Jesus, I command life into my day in the name of Jesus. I don’t care about the choice of the enemy. They can have whatever they say with their mouth as their experience in the name of Jesus. But as for me, my experience is short of nothing other than life and happiness. No death over my path in the name of Jesus.
- I make a declaration right now that my morning is blessed by the Lord in the name of Jesus. The Bible says I am blessed in every way. This morning and this day is not an exemption of this blessing in the name of Jesus. My morning is great and my day is delightful in the name of Jesus. I will not miss out on God’s blessing in the name of Jesus.
- God spoke life into existence and since Jesus says I am a god too and that scripture is not broken by calling me, god. I hereby speak greatness into my day in the name of Jesus. I speak favor and mercy into my day in the name of Jesus. I received blessings of the day in the name of Jesus. I speak against bad things spoken over my morning in the name of Jesus.
