Lazy people are people who have the attitude of avoiding work. They tend to either procrastinate or seek pleasure when they are supposed to be working for results. Some go as far as avoiding work completely for no justifiable reasons. Most of the time, they just want to keep having fun. Though they don’t want to work, they want the results of the working people. This may sometimes make them do bad things.
Lazy people need our help much more than the criticism and backbiting as many would gladly shower on them. One important area to help lazy people is by praying for them. - Even the Bible says that he that can not provide for his own has denied the faith, and he is worst than an unbeliever. Lord, please help this man to understand that he cannot afford to be lazy so as to not be worst than an unbeliever. Lord, help him that he might not end up denying the faith in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I pray for the wisdom and discipline for him in the name of Jesus. Most lazy people are lazy because they are not disciplined. Father, I pray that you instill the practice and spirit of discipline to take its full course in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit please teach him diligence through a spiritual journey in the name of Jesus.
- Father, I pray for this man that he receives divine grace to do things that will enhance his life. Lord, let a supernatural will come on him that he may have the power to break loose of the hold of laziness upon him in the name of Jesus. Father, just grant him grace for exploit in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, every principality and power orchestrating this laziness in his life so as to keep him in power is broken in the name of Jesus. Lord, let those powers and principalities be broken down in the name of Jesus. we come against the operations of the satanic powers in the name of Jesus. Let your power overshadow every power that is coming in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I pray that as you bring this man out of the shambles of laziness, please help him to recover all he has lost through laziness in the name of Jesus. Lord, help him to recover all that he missed due to his laziness in the name of Jesus. Please recover all for him so that he may know that you are the king of glory.
- Lord Jesus, I come against every spirit bringing about laziness and weariness at the edge of a breakthrough in the name of Jesus. Every spirit that is responsible for such operation in his life is hereby cursed in the name of Jesus. The operations of such a spirit are rendered useless and void in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I disassociate this lazy fellow from all lazy friends enticing him with laziness in the name of Jesus. Every lazy friend that the enemy is using to render him useless and valueless is hereby separated from him in the name of Jesus. That friendship can no longer prosper in the name of Jesus. Irrespective of how far that friendship has gone, it seizes to hold in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, every form of bait of seriousness used by people and powers that be to make this man lazy and unproductive is hereby rendered useless in the name of Jesus. Father, no bait of un-seriousness will ever work for this man in the name of Jesus. Receive wisdom from above to be wiser than the bait in the name of Jesus. Your divine wisdom quotient is refilled in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, let every spirit that is influencing the sleep that makes him sleep longer than the normal timeframe, especially when something important has to be done. Father, help him in the name of Jesus. Every of such spirit and the human spirit may want to use to ruin him completely. Please visit him by your power in the name of Jesus.
- Procrastination is a major tool in the hands of the devil in this regard. Lord, I pray that you help him to break off from the habit of procrastination in the name of Jesus. Lord, please deliver this man from the grip and life of procrastination in all ramifications in the name of Jesus. Lord, help him to do things at the right time to the best of his knowledge in the name of Jesus.
