Psalm 35 Prayers Against Unjust Enemies

An unjust enemy is a force or an entity that hates a particular person for an unknown wrong reason. It can be in the form of a battle with a physical person or spiritual warfare against unseen demonic forces. Unjust enemies just like as derived from the word ‘unjust’ usually hate us for no justifiable reasons. This hatred arises most times as a result of extreme jealousy of our glory and blessings.

Therefore he always keeps trying to torment us and fight against us brutally. But we have been vindicated through the blood of Jesus Christ and our victory is made perfect through the Almighty God over every unjust enemy.

We are going to be using Psalm 35 to pray against the devil and that every unjust enemy is conquered and destroyed.

The great warrior:

“Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me!.” (Psalm 35:1).

Dear God,

I bless your name because you are the greatest warrior. I pray that you come to my aid and fight on my behalf. Deliver me from every unjust enemy and deal with those who torment and battle against me today in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Arise for our help:

“Take hold of shield and buckler and rise for my help! Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers! Say to my soul, “I am your salvation!” (Psalm 35:2-3).

“All my bones shall say, Lord, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him? False witnesses did rise; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.” (Psalm 35:10-11).

I am glad because there is nobody on earth and in heaven that is greater than you. I pray that you deliver me and remove all sorrows that have been planted by the enemies from my life today in Jesus’ name. Amen

Calming distressed soul:

“They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul. But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting, and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.” (Psalms 35:12-13).

Dear Lord,

“I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother. “With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth. Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.” (Psalm 35:16-17).

I pray that you come quickly to save me from the gnashing teeth of my enemies and rescue my soul from destruction in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

“I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among many people. “Yea, they opened their mouths wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it. This thou hast seen, O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me. Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.” (Psalm 35:20-23).

Dear Lord,

I pray that you fight for my cause and deal with all my unjust enemies gathering to mock me because I believe in your divine name and accept you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let the enemies be confused

“Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up. Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.”(Psalm 35:23-26). 

Dear God,

I thank you for being a God that answers prayers. Thank you because I believe that you have heard my supplication against my unjust enemies. Give me the strength and grace to stay steadfast in you. May your name be praised forever and ever. Amen.
