Stagnation is never a path of the deal that Jesus gave us in the salvation plan. Therefore when you notice stagnation in your life or that of a friend, it means something outside the normal order in the salvation plan is taking place. Anytime something like this happens to us as Christians, we must go back to our father and settle it out in prayer. So, this piece is about raising prayer points against stagnation.
It is ideal for us to be on the same page before we begin to raise prayer points against stagnation. Stagnation means that one has been kept in a place or at a spot without progress. It is important to stress that progress is the key thing here. So, once a person’s life lacks progress, such a person has stagnated for the period of the lack. Sometimes there might be movement but that doesn’t equate to progress. Now, let us raise the prayer points!
- Father, please reveal every seed of stagnation that I have planted in my life unknowingly in Jesus’ name. Lord please help me abort the growth of all stagnation seeds in my life. Help to end the ones growing and help me to cut every stagnation trees in my life. My life must be free of stagnation in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, Jesus please show me the source of this backwardness in my life. Father open my eyes and help me to see the source of backwardness in my life in the name of Jesus. Open my eyes and as you show me Lord, help me to comprehend so that I can pray the right prayers oh Lord. Father help me in the name of Jesus! Please show me where I have forsaken my mercy and help to right my wrongs in Jesus’ name.
- Father, please show me where I took the wrong turn that brought backwardness into my life. Father, please have mercy on me and show me where I missed it so that I can right my wrongs. Have mercy on me in the name of Jesus. Let your mercy find me at this point and redirect my step to the right path in the name of Jesus. Just as you had mercy on David, let me find mercy too Lord.
- Father, forgive me of all the sins that have dropped me into stagnation. Stagnation has kept me from advancing into the goodness you have for me, please forgive me of my sins. Wash me with thy blood, and let me be clean from this stagnation.
- I acknowledge my shortcomings oh Lord, and that I opened the door for the stagnation in my life. Let not my shortcoming waste my time and season in Jesus’ name. I seek forgiveness of my sin in Jesus’ name. The Bible says that you are faithful to forgive my sins if I ask for it in Jesus’ name.
- Father, please have mercy on me, without your mercy at this point, stagnation is standing to finish me. Please have mercy on me in this phase of stagnation. Let your mercy extract me from the stagnation that has kept me down. Please let every stagnation in my life be judged by your mercy in Jesus’ name.
- Lord Jesus, I come against every form of stagnation in my life in Jesus’ name. Stagnation is not part of the salvation that you have given me oh Lord, therefore it should not be my experience. I banish every stagnation standard in my life in Jesus’ name.
- Father in Jesus’ name, save me from every setback that has kept me in stagnation. Setbacks are not part of my inheritance in Christ Jesus, therefore, I set them ablaze in Jesus’ name. All setbacks that have held me bound are hereby consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus’ name.
- Jesus, let every power that forces me into stagnation be judged. Let not stagnation be allowed to ruin my path in Jesus’ name. Therefore, let the powers that be forcing me into stagnation be judged in Jesus’ name. You are a progressive God oh Lord, I can’t be a stagnated follower.
- I come against every sacrifice put in place to stagnate my life in the name of Jesus. I come by the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross against all the sacrifice made to put me in stagnation in Jesus’ name. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ supersedes all sacrifice, therefore I destroy the power of stagnation in my life.
- Father in Jesus’ name, I come in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ against every ancestral or generation curse establishing the stagnation in my life. I have moved into a new order of family, that is the family of God through Jesus Christ. Therefore, stagnation which serves as a hallmark of the ancestral curse is no longer part of my life because I am born again.
- I walk out of stagnation in the name of Jesus Christ. As far as the Holy Spirit wishes above all things that I prospers, therefore, I walk out of stagnation, and every bit of setbacks in the name of Jesus Christ. Stagnation is in no way part of the testament for me, I walk out of stagnation in the name of Jesus.
- Father, help me to stay through to the process that is preparing me for the greatness ahead. You helped David and he eventually became king after years of stagnation running from places, Please help Lord me in Jesus’ name. Only your help can help me through without destroying the process.
- Father, open my eyes to understanding my time and season so that I can understand your dealing with me in Jesus’ name. So that, I will not confuse dealings with stagnation in Jesus’ name. Open my eyes to understand when it is a process of the dealings for me and when it is stagnation.
- Jesus, please help me not to abort the process of the dealings even though it may look like stagnation. Help me Lord, the process accomplish everything it is meant to achieve to make me fit for where you are taking me to in Jesus’ name.
- Father help me to distinguish the trainings from the setbacks in the name of Jesus Christ. Help me so that I can go through the process oh Lord. Jesus help me in the process that I must go through to reach the your plan and purposes for my life. Help me in Jesus’ name.
More Prayers against the Spirit of Backwardness
- Father in Jesus’ name, every altar of backwardness reigning in my life must come to an end now in the name of Jesus Christ. No matter how powerful it professes to be, it can never be as powerful as the power vested in the name of Jesus. I, therefore, come in the name of Jesus, and I destroy every altar of backwardness in my life in the name of Jesus.
- Father you did not save me to live the life of backwardness, therefore, backwardness cannot continue to rule my life. There can be no two masters over my life. You have purchased my life with your blood Lord! The Bible says the day that I call on the name of the Lord, my enemy would turn back, backwardness you cannot stay in my life. Leave in Jesus’ name! Backwardness, pack your load and leave my life in the name of Jesus!
- Every power sponsoring backwardness in my life must come to an end by the power in the name of Jesus. Lord, power must change hands, enough of backwardness in my life in Jesus’ name. Backwardness can no longer rule my destiny when Jesus paid for my life in full. My life is paid for, only the power of Jesus can sponsor my life in the name of Jesus.
- Every individual or group of people sponsoring backwardness in my life, your time is up in the name of Jesus. Lose your grip over my life in the name of Jesus. I send back your backwardness to you in the name of Jesus. From this moment on, no divination or enchantment of backwardness will work over my life in the name of Jesus.
- Every plot of the enemy to keep my life in perpetual backwardness is rendered void in the name of Jesus. I receive wisdom to walk in the knowledge and wisdom of God in the name of Jesus. I will no longer fall into the trap of the enemy to keep my life in backwardness in the name of Jesus. I stay and live in the perpetual life of progress in the name of Jesus.
- Every character flaw used by the enemy to launch me into backwardness every time I make a step forward is judged in the name of Jesus. Lord, please help me to overcome all my character flaws in the name of Jesus. This will no longer be a bait to launch me into backwardness in the name of Jesus.
- Father, please give me wisdom and let me be wiser than my adversary. Let not my adversary be able to take push me back into backwardness anymore in the name of Jesus. I just need more wisdom so that I will not keep falling into the trap of backwardness set by the enemy. Divine wisdom is what I seek oh Lord. Help me in Jesus’ name.
- Father, I come in the name of Jesus Christ against backwardness in my life. I have zoe now which is the life of God and there is no backwardness in the life of God, therefore backwardness is cursed in my life in the name of Jesus. I can no longer live the life of backwardness in the name of Jesus Christ.
